Elements and Performance Criteria
- Plan and prepare for managing well completion and abandonment
- Obtain, read, confirm and apply work instructions for the allocated task
- Access, interpret and apply well and rig lease documentation and confirm work activity is compliant
- Identify and minimise environmental issues and potential hazards, and assess and address risks within scope of own role and according to workplace procedures
- Confirm personnel coordination requirements at the site are met prior to commencement of work activities
- Organise completion schedule
- Develop completion schedule in line with drilling contract and well prognosis
- Review and confirm lease details, notifications are forwarded to statutory, company, owner and contractor representatives
- Make preparations for release of rig and complete tour book records in accordance with company requirements
- Confirm that prior to rig move, arrangements are in place for work orders and invoicing in line with contract requirements and servicing and maintenance repairs of equipment
- Make preparations to stack and move and communicate to all parties
- Assess environmental plan and that drilling fluids and waste storage and disposal requirements and correct records are completed and processed
- Prepare shutdown list according to statutory and company requirements and distribute to crew for actioning
- Rig down according to statutory and company requirements and distribute to crew for actioning
- Rig down confirming that equipment, camp and rig are secured for removal
- Review contract requirements, complete written records and forward to appropriate officers
